Barktoberfest - October 15, 2011

The Jefferson County Humane Society is hosting a fall event to raise money to build our new shelter. Barktoberfest will be held Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Wolf Creek on Highway 90 East, Monticello.
Activities planned include a Critter Crawl Duathlon (runners will start from our old shelter and finish at the new shelter location), Car Show, Food/Craft vendors, Beer, Entertainment, and Kids Area.

Jefferson County Humane Society participates in Petsmart Adoption Weekends in Tallahassee, Florida. We are there the first and third Sunday of every month from 11am until 4pm.

Monthly Membership meetings
Our Membership meetings are open to the public, and are held at Wag the Dog Too Thrift Store, located at 235 N. Jefferson St., Monticello, Florida, on the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm.
