Volunteer Today
Do you have a love for animals? Volunteers are always welcome! At the shelter, volunteers help by walking dogs, petting cats, and doing general cleaning, chores and maintenance of the shelter grounds. At our Thrift Shops, volunteers sort donated clothing, clean and organize, help move heavy items, or help with sales. Through volunteering, every JCHSI shelter animal will benefit. Contact JCHSI today to volunteer!

- 100% cotton flat sheets
- 100% cotton king & queen size pillowcases
- 100% cotton towels (30 in. by 40 in. preferred)
- Baby receiving blankets
- Cleaning supplies, bleach, laundry detergent, paper towels, dawn liquid detergent, vinegar, and borax.
- Dry dog food ( Purina dog & puppy chow brand preferred)
- Dry cat food (Purina Cat and Kitten brand preferred)
- Cat litter (non-clumping)
- Animal crates
- Animal toys
- 2 and 5 gallon buckets
- Heavy duty garden hoses
- Clamp type mop head replacements
