Thanks to everyone who has volunteered and participated in our fundraising events. Anyone wishing to become a member or volunteer, please attend our monthly meetings. Our Membership meetings are open to the public, and are held at “Wag the Dog Too” Thrift Shop, 235 N. Jefferson St., Monticello, Florida, on the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm.
Fire Destroys Humane Society Building
As many of you know, the mobile home used as the office and temporary animal housing for the 
Jefferson County Humane Society burned in October, 2010. We are so blessed that no animals were lost in the tragic fire.
How can you help?
*Send a monetary donation to the Humane Society at Post Office Box 954, Monticello, Florida 32345.
*Consider adopting a shelter animal. The shelter currently has over 100 animals that need that special forever home.
*Volunteer your time at the Animal Shelter or one of the Thrift Shops. Contact 850-342-0244.
*Shop at one of our thrift stores located in downtown Monticello.
